Sachin Nayak is an engineering manager at Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) a $6.5 billion Technology Company specializing in affordable, integrated solutions to an international and domestic customer base, including defense, security and civil markets.In this role, Sachin manages the Integrated Test Strategies section, a high-performing group of 20-25 multi-discipline engineers. Located across the Northeast, his team designs and deploys test equipment supporting IDS programs around the world and also performs testability analysis (Fault Detection, Fault Isolation (FDFI), Design for Test, Diagnostics & Troubleshoot Aids) to support product reliability & maintainability in the factory and in the field.Sachin acts as both Product & Project Manager for new test equipment hardware & software development, routinely owning budgets of $20 million+ and execution teams of 40+ heads. He has a 10-year track record of success juggling both financial management and technical leadership on a variety of programs including Patriot, Zumwalt, and Sidewinder.Sachin is also a certified defense contract proposal estimator, recruited as an engineering expert to help capture new business. Previously, he managed recruiting & hiring activities for the Test Development Department, adding twelve to the department headcount.Additionally, Sachin volunteered as the Vice President of YESNET Northeast and also mentored area high school students as part of the Stand & Deliver program.Sachin began his career at Raytheon in 2004 as an engineer supporting the Test Development Department. He was awarded Raytheon Technical Honors by his peers in 2013 and named to the elite Raytheon High Potential program by his leadership, designating him in the top 3% of Raytheon’s global workforce.Sachin holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Pennsylvania State University.
